Where Cross Drilled Bodies Usually Fail

Every rejected brass body traces back to the same three places: a cross hole drilled off position, a burr left inside the bore, and a seat that no longer runs true after threading. We machine all three in one controlled sequence, not as separate guesses.

·Port position held, not hoped. The cross hole is located from the same datum as the seat, so the port lands where the drawing says.

·Bore left genuinely clean. Every cross hole is deburred inside the bore, so no chip or sliver reaches your assembly.

·Seat stays true after threading. The conical seat is cut and checked after threading, so sealing faces stay concentric with the body.

·One‑piece strength. Body, thread and seat are turned from solid brass, with no joints to leak.

·Material matched to service. Standard H59 brass for general duty, with DZR and lead‑free grades for aggressive water and potable lines.
