FAQ

1.What information do you need to provide an accurate quote?

Please send a detailed drawing (PDF, DWG, or STEP), material specification, required surface finish, target tolerance, quantity, and any special processing or inspection requirements. If you don’t have a drawing, a clear photo with dimensions and a sketch is helpful.

2.What tolerance levels can you achieve?

Typical CNC tolerances we routinely hold are ±0.01 mm (±0.0004") for standard precision and down to ±0.005 mm (±0.0002") for high-precision work, depending on material, geometry, and quantity. Tell us the critical dimensions so we can confirm feasibility.

3.Which materials do you work with?

We machine metals and plastics commonly used in industry: stainless steels (e.g., 303/304/316), aluminum alloys (e.g., 6061, 7075), brass, copper, carbon steels, tool steels, as well as engineering plastics like POM, PTFE, Nylon, and Delrin. We can source other alloys on request.

4.What is your typical lead time and minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Lead time depends on complexity and quantity — prototyping (1–10 pcs) typically takes 5–15 business days; small production runs (10–500 pcs) usually 10–30 business days. MOQ varies by part and finish; for many parts we accept low-volume runs (1–10 pcs). Provide part details for an exact estimate.

5.What surface finishes and secondary operations do you offer?

We provide anodizing, passivation, plating (nickel, zinc), powder coating, black oxide, polishing, deburring, heat treatment, assembly, tapping/insert installation, and custom marking (laser etch, ink). Specify finish class and appearance requirements when requesting a quote.

6.How do you ensure quality and what inspection documentation do you provide?

We use calibrated CMMs, optical comparators, micrometers, and surface roughness testers. Standard deliverables include first-article inspection (FAI), dimensional inspection reports, material certificates (e.g., EN/ASTM), and full inspection reports on request. PPAP or custom QC protocols can be arranged for serial production.
